Inspiration
Gurudev Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharyaji, known for ‘Revolution in Thought’, lived
for about eight decades, but his accomplishments in the realm of spirituality and
social work remain eternal.
The embodiment of simple living, love and compassion, a prolific writer and a powerful
orator, he worked tirelessly throughout his life for the spiritual wellbeing of
women and the downtrodden.
Gurudev was also an educationist and a visionary who stressed the need for pragmatism
in education. He was moved by the plight of the Indian women, confined to the kitchen
and suffering injustices silently due to ignorance and lack of education.
It was Gurudev who inspired Dr. Rawal, the founder to build this school in Mussoorie,
and with his blessings the year 1985 witnessed the birth of Mussoorie International
School.
Gurudev Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharyaji is no longer with us, but his spirit continues
to guide and inspire us. His words "Hum Badlenge, Yug Badlega" will remain with
us forever.
